There are many training organisations so why do you prefer PADI?

 

PADI ( Professional Association of Diving Instructors ) is the world's largest recreational diving membership organization. The membership includes dive businesses, resort facilities, academic institutions, instructor trainers, dive educators, divers, snorkelers and other watersports enthusiasts. Students learn the basics through independent study and then are guided through additional development by their instructors. The goal is to get students in the water as soon as possible and provide them with the instruction necessary to gain confidence in their diving abilities. All PADI programs, entry-level through instructor training, fall under strict educational standards to maintain worldwide consistency and quality. PADI takes a proactive approach to, with a full-time department that randomly surveys PADI Divers to monitor PADI programs and to confirm that PADI courses meet PADI's high standards. This commitment to a strong quality assurance process helps maintain credibility and continually improve customer satisfaction. It is vitally important to us to give you the best experience we can. How old do I need to be to go diving?

 

As old as 8 years, you can splash about in the swimming pool or in a controlled beach environment. The minimum age for PADI certification is 10 years old.

 

How fit do I need to be for diving and do I need a diving medical?

 

You must be generally healthy and be able to complete the medical checklist that will be given to you by your instructor.  If you answer yes to any questions then you must get a medical certificate to say you are fit to dive.

 

How long does it take to learn to dive?

 

You can have a discover scuba diving experience which takes a few hours, to get a PADI certification may take as little as 3 days.

 

Is it difficult to learn scuba diving?

 

Not at all. There are a few co-ordinated skills that you will need to master, however, our patient instructors will guide you thorough anything you might find difficult.

 

What is included in the price of the course?

 

  • PADI Discover Scuba Diving divers receive a wall certificate upon completion
  • renewed and insured PADI Instructor
  • all equipment required to complete the PADI course or DSD experience
  • all transport (both land and sea). Air-con minivan, local boat or customized diving boat
  • local style lunch, soft drinks, tea and coffee
  • beach towels and cold face towels
  • all national park and porter fees

 

Does your PADI course price include the following items: all PADI materials required for each course, PADI certification upon completion of the course?

 

No, it doesn't. When you purchase a PADI manual for your course, certification fee is already included in the price of manual.

We offer those things at cost price to reduce your expense.

 

How is your PADI open water course structured?

 

Day 1. Arrive at 8:30 AM and do the usual paperwork, and go through the course pre-requisites and knowlege reviews and head off to the pool for your 5 confined pool dives

 

Day 2. Two ocean dives off one of Bali's pristine beaches. Interact with fish, be in awe at sunken ship wrecks, or just watch in amazement as massive schools of fish swim around you.

 

Day 3. more dives today to complete your open water experience and certification. Giant stride into the water at some of Bali's best dive sites. These dives will leave you wanting to plan your next dive before you even get out of the water! Then after a great day out, back to the dive shop to celebrate your newly acquired open water certification.  Here you will be awarded your PADI Wall Certificate.

 

Where will I dive on my PADI open water course?

 

All swimming pool dives will be at Dive Today resort in Sanur. The open water dives usually will be at Sanur, Nusa Dua, Padang Bai and Tulamben etc in and around Bali after considering safe water movement, relative depth and visability.

 

Do I have to be a good swimmer to be certified as a PADI open water diver?

 

Not necessarily, however in fact you only need to be able to show that you can stay afloat for over 10 minutes and be able to swim...doggy paddle...any style you prefer for a distance of 200 metres, or you can snorkel swim for 300 metres.
